The first Philippine participation in the 9th Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) promotes the Philippines as a major quality supplier of 100% Halal-certified fresh fruits and vegetables, processed food, seafood, ingredients, and condiments.
MIHAS is the world's largest congregation of Halal industry players with around 400 local and foreign exhibitors and over 16,000 visitors from all over the world.
After the exhibit, the participants will promote their Halal food products and meet potential buyers by joining selling missions in:
- Brunei on 9-12 April 2012
- Indonesia on 12-15 April 2012
They will also promote IFEX Philippines: Asia's Ethnic Food and Ingredients Show, slated on 16-19 May 2013 at the SMX Convention Center in Manila, Philippines.
